  • Cite information from your own personal notes from a lecture as a personal communication and refer to it only in the body of your essay. Do not add to your Reference List.

  • If the slides come from a classroom website (D2L, Blackboard, etc.) and you are writing for an audience with access to that resource, provide the name of the site and its URL. Use the login page URL for sites requiring a login.
