Biography:

Richard, best known by the nickname “Zack”, has enjoyed many years  of working with students in Canadian post secondary institutions in a variety of roles.  Currently he is the chair of the Academic and Career Foundations (ACF) department at Camosun College as well as being one of their  math upgrading instructors.  Prior to that Zack worked as a learning skills counsellor at Camosun and before that  he worked for 11 years at Western University in London, Ontario.  While there, he and his two learning skills colleagues co-authored the book Learning for Success – Effective Strategies for Students, a Canadian bestseller now in its 4th edition.   Zack began his teaching career as a physics instructor at CEGEP John Abbott College near Montreal .
