Biography:
Camosun instructor, Dr. Jim Sexton, is the longest serving English faculty member (since the college opened in 1971) and a world-acknowledged expert in the works of Aldous Huxley. His biographical entry on Huxley has been published in book and digital formats for Encyclopedia of Twentieth-Century Fiction. Consider the Lilies and Other Short Fiction by Aldous Huxley, is edited with an introduction by Jim. He teaches full-time in fall term and devotes the rest of the year to travel and research. A curator of the Center for Aldous Huxley Studies (University of Muenster, Germany), he is the editor of the Aldous Huxley Annual. He has recently been asked to join the editorial team for the Cambridge University Press Works of Joseph Conrad.
