Welcome!

This LibGuide identifies academic accommodations used by students with disabilities registered with the Centre for Accessible Learning at Camosun College and the roles and scopes of accommodations.

The guide is developed to facilitate understanding of these by instructors and students.

The contents of this LibGuide were prepared in consultation with practice norms from across Canadian colleges and universities. Notable sources were: Queen's, University of Victoria, University of Guelph, George Brown, Carleton, Humber, Mohawk, Lakehead, McMaster, University of British Columbia, Ryerson, Simon Fraser, University of Toronto, University of Alberta, University of Winnipeg, MacEwan, Vancouver Island University, Grand Rapids, Mount Royal, Kwantlen Polytechnic, McGill, University of Windsor, Georgian and York.
