The Makerspace Podcast Studio (MPS), located on the first floor of the Camosun Library, is here to enhance the student experience by offering tools, support, and space for students, clubs, faculty, and staff to create their own original multimedia productions. Even if you're a beginner the MPS provides workshops and orientations to help you get started. In this space you'll have access to everything you need to take your creative idea from concept to a finished piece weather its video, photo, music, or podcast.
Although class-related productions are given top priority, the production and post-production equipment/software are also available to students, faculty and staff for personal development and artistic vision. Whether you’d like to produce a podcast, interview, slideshow, original music composition – we are here to help!
We will not do your project for you or offer a production team, but we will provide training opportunities and many of the tools you’ll need to complete your own production. You supply the crew, and we supply the tools!
