Camosun Makerspaces

Welcome to the Makerspace Knowledge Base. Here, you’ll find everything you need to understand how the Makerspace operates, how to get connected, and where to access learning resources and guided pathways to support your exploration.

Our Values

We believe that digital and physical making are essential for empowering individuals and building strong communities. Our mission is to provide spaces where Camosun community members can come together to discover, learn and create, to build agency and experience joy through creative processes.

With access to tools and technology, expert guidance from our staff, and a supportive and inclusive environment, we empower our patrons to manifest their unique visions and bring their ideas to life. Whether you are a seasoned maker of a first-time creator, the Makerspace collaboration rooms and the Podcast Studio are places where you can explore your creative potential and experience the joy of making.
