Browsing the Library Shelves

While the library is not currently open for browsing, you still have options to borrow our print material. Search the library catalogue in the box below and note the title and call number (e.g. VK 541 A28 2015) of the books you want; then fill out your request using the forms on the next tab "Request library material"

Catalogue search

A library catalogue search includes physical books, DVDs and some e-books.
For a more comprehensive search that includes digital content such as articles, please use Single Search.

 

 

Getting started on campus

1. Get your College ID/Library card

2. Looking for a locker? You rent them at the Bookstore.

3. Activate your College computer account by logging onto a campus computer. The first time login is with your student # (e.g. C000####) as the username and your birthdate as the password (birthdate in mmddyy format).

4. Connect to wi-fi on your own laptop, smartphone or tablet. Connect to the Eduroam Wireless network.

If you have a Bit Torrent client on your device, please ensure it is disabled or un-installed before starting this process. Bit Torrent clients are not allowed on the College network.

  • Select the Eduroam wireless network; it does not matter what kind of device
  • Go to Wireless Settings
  • This will be part of drop down menu:

WIRELESS SECURITY..

  • Security type: WPA2-Enterprise
  • Encryption Type: AES
  • ​Network authentication: PEAP
  • Enter EAP MS CHAP v2
  • C1234567@camosun.ca
  • Enter your password
  • May be prompted to accept certificate, click ok
