Restorative justice in Canada : lessons learned (2002)This paper explains the principle of restorative justice as a means of resolving disputes, describes the process, and outlines the main models of the restorative justice program in use today. A section on lessons learned deals with such issues as coercion, emotion, the need for an alternative to the adversarial process, restorative justice and the living law, evaluation, and the role of community.
