Models and Kits

All of the following kits are on reserve at Interurban library and can be borrowed for up to 2hrs. 

27-Part half life-size muscular figure.

Life-size functional shoulder joint model shows the anatomy and mechanics of the shoulder joint. Consisting of the scapula, clavical, portion of humerus and joint ligaments; demonstrates abduction, anteversion, retroversion and internal/external rotation.

This life-size functional knee joint model shows the anatomy and mechanics of the knee joint; demonstrates abduction, anteversion, retroversion and internal/external rotation. Model consists of portion of femur, tibia and portion of fibula; also includes meniscus, patella with quadriceps tendon and joint ligaments, including the ACL and PCL.

This model of the heart consists of the ventricles, atrium, valves, veins and the aorta. Removable front heart walls allows detailed view of the inner chambers.

Brain model authentic in size, shape and feel. Includes 8 dissectible parts and 60 labeled structures. Guide includes labeled diagrams for sagittal section showing arteries; cerebrum; cerebellum; lobes of brain; base of brain; and brain stem.

Bone kits - separate boxes for the upper body, lower body, vertebrae

Model set with brain, eye, heart, kidney, and artery models. Includes display stand and detailed education card. Card illustrates effects associated with hypertension: retinopathy, atherosclerosis, arterial plaque, kidney failure, and stroke.

Hand with start of lower arm, with Tendons, Carpal Tunnel and Nerves. The model shows the following structures: tendons of flexor digitorum superficialis muscle, tendon of flexor pollicis longus muscle, vagina communis tendinum musculorum flexorum (Common flexor sheath of hand), transverse carpal ligament and median nerve.
