Where and when are Community Stories being held?

Community Stories is being held in the Camosun Lansdowne Library on Wednesday, March 30th, 2022.

How do I choose a speaker and register?

Go to the biographies page to see each speaker's bio. Choose a speaker whose story you want to hear and click the "Registration" button next to the bio to view the calendar of speakers and times. Click the speaker and particular session time (each speaker has two time slots!) and then click Begin Registration, enter your C# and password to register. You will receive a confirmation email.

Is this open to everyone?

This event is open to all Camosun College alumni, staff and students. If you do not have a current C# please contact community.stories.camosun@gmail.com to inquire about registration.

How do I cancel my registration?

When you register you will receive a confirmation email. A link to cancel your registration is included in this email. Please click on this link to cancel your registration.

How long is the event?

The event runs from 1:00pm to 4:00pm including opening and closing remarks. Those registered for an individual speaker can attend only for the time slot(s) they are registered for.

Will there be coffee and snacks?

Yes, we will have coffee, water, tea and snacks for participants.

What time do I need to show up for my time slot?

Registrants are required to show up 5 minutes prior to their reservation. All late show slots will be given to someone else.

Is the location wheelchair accessible?

Yes, it is

Do I need to wear a mask?

Current PHO guidlines have removed the requirement for face coverings and will be optional for people in all indoor public settings, please be respectful of individual choices when it comes to face coverings and physical distancing.

Do I need to pay for parking?

Yes, parking is the responsibility of attendees. See parking options.
