Art and Archaeology Technical Abstracts (AATA Online) This link opens in a new window
AATA Online is a free research database containing abstracts of literature related to the preservation and conservation of material cultural heritage. Covers restoration and preservation of artworks, material culture and archaeology. Includes progress of archaeological excavations and works of art newly discovered or authenticated. AATA does not provide full text documents, however is an excellent resource to identify resources for research.

Journal of Urban Archaeology
The Journal of Urban Archaeology (JUA) is the first dedicated scholarly journal to recognize urban archaeology as a field within its own right. Published twice a year, it provides an intellectual forum for researchers working on the archaeology of urban societies and networks in all parts of the world and across all periods of time.

Covers a wide range of topics including archaeology, multicultural relations, gaming, governance, legend, and literacy. Contains citations and some full text for books, essays, journal articles, and government documents of Canada and the United States.

American Anthropologist
Flagship journal of the American Anthropological Association. Publishes peer-reviewed research articles that add to, integrate, synthesize, and interpret anthropological knowledge; commentaries and essays on issues of importance to the discipline; and reviews of books, films, sound recordings, and exhibits.
Cultural Anthropology
Peer-reviewed journal of the Society for Cultural Anthropology, a section of the American Anthropological Association. Publishes ethnographic writing informed by a wide array of theoretical perspectives, focused on both traditional and emerging topics. Open access since 2014.
Ethos
Interdisciplinary and international quarterly journal devoted to scholarly articles dealing with the interrelationships between the individual and the social milieu, between the psychological disciplines and the social disciplines. The journal publishes work from a wide spectrum of different disciplinary traditions and methodological approaches. Full text delay: 7 years
Medical Anthropology Quarterly: International Journal for the Analysis of Health
Official journal of the Society for Medical Anthropology (SMA), a section of the American Anthropological Association. The peer-reviewed journal publishes articles that advance important ideas and debates in all areas of contemporary medical anthropology.
Museum Anthropology
Peer-reviewed journal that seeks to be a leading voice for scholarly research on the collection, interpretation, and representation of the material world. Museum Anthropology is a publication of the Council for Museum Anthropology (CMA). Full text delay: 12 months
Visual Anthropology
Scholarly journal presenting original articles, commentary, discussions, and film and book reviews on anthropological and ethnographic topics. Focuses on the study of human behavior through visual means. Full text delay: 18 months
