Search tips

Try using these as search terms:

Use quotation marks around phrases.  Combine terms to narrow your topic.      Example: Canada and holidays

*will search for words after the last letter. Example: Canad* = Canada, Canadian, Canada's

Consider using synonyms such as "Youth", "Young adults", "Adolescents"

Canad* [business and location] "diabetes in animals" NOT humans
Youth or Child* "Interpersonal communication" neighbo*r* watch programs
"Food security" and
"Victoria, BC"
[Charity name] NOT "obituary" [charity name AND Canada]

This is an example of a search using boolean operators 'NOT' and 'AND.' The results will include pets and the food industry in Canada, excluding snakes and turtles.
