The resources highlighted in this guide represent a selection of items in the library collection to help you learn about - and celebrate - the wonderful world of birds!

The installation of solar panels on the southwest roof of the Lansdowne Library presented the ideal opportunity to consider a bird-friendly element to the windows in this area of the building. The white dots help birds recognize the reflective surface is a barrier and not open sky, hopefully preventing injury or death.
