- good sources include Statistics Canada, Bank of Canada, BCStats and the Conference Board of Canada (provides economic performance & trends, industry outlooks and more).
- Check the BC Ministry of Finance page for their take on the current & upcoming economic picture (includes the annual Financial and Economic Review).
- The latest information on forecasts or trends (both general and specific) will most often be found in a periodical/journal index. See the Find articles tab in this guide
- Key business & labour laws - provincial information can be obtained through the government business site; labour legislation is available via BCLaws.ca
- Competition? What other companies or activities are your competition? Yellow Pages, industry associations, relevant retailers are all good options to explore.
