Association of Fundraising Professionals - Library information

This guide will help you locate the material that AFP has donated to the Camosun Library, as well as locate other relevant material in the Library collection.

Borrowing for Victoria residents

Getting your library card & direct borrowing:

A free Community Borrower card is available to those members who reside in the area south of the summit of the Malahat (and Gulf Islands that are south of that line). A card will be issued upon presentation of appropriate identification with address verification. Cards are valid until August 31st of the current year.

Community borrowers are subject to restrictions on what they may borrow and are limited to 25 books/journals. Remote access to electronic resources is unfortunately not available for community borrowers.

Placing holds

Once you get your Camosun library card, you can register a password. This will allow you to place holds on items that are out or at another campus. For example, if your preferred pickup location is the Lansdowne library, then place a hold on an Interurban book and we will transfer it from Interurban to Lansdowne.

If you forget your password, please contact the library to reset it.

  • Phone: Lansdowne: 250-370-3619; Interurban: 250-370-3828
  • Email: library@camosun.ca

Borrowing from outside Victoria

Interlibrary Loan for non-residents:

For all AFP members who live outside the Victoria area, you can still borrow fundraising and other materials from the Camosun collection. Your local public library can request the material for you. We send it to your local library and you pick it up there. Free and easy!
