COVID-19 Faculty Supports & Resources

eLearning Supports

The eLearning blog is the best place to find specific tips on using D2L, Kaltura and Blackboard Collaborate.

CETL's D2L On-Demand Training course provides on-demand training videos for faculty who want to learn about specific tools in D2L.

If you are already using D2L as an instructor, click on the student tab within the My Courses widget on the My Home to get started. Faculty who are not currently enrolled in the D2L and would like access to the videos are advised to email  to obtain a login.

*Please use Camosun eLearning supported programs* because other apps like Google docs/drive, Twitch and YouTube do not comply with BC legislation regarding the protection Student information and privacy; if the servers are not in Canada personal data is at risk.
